    Waiting | Part Two: Faithful to the End?

    None of us likes to wait…for our flight at the airport or the drive-thru at McDonald’s. We also don’t like waiting on God…to bring peace in our family or answer a prayer. And when we grow tired of waiting on God and we don’t see the action we want, we sometimes bail out on God. If he won’t answer my prayer, why be obedient. But Malachi urges us to be faithful to the end so we can be rewarded on the day the Lord returns.

    None of us likes to wait…in line at the grocery store or even for the stop light to turn green. We also don’t like waiting on God…to heal a disease or mend our marriage. And when we grow tired of waiting on God and we don’t see the action we want, we sometimes bail out on God. If he won’t answer my prayer, what’s the use in being obedient. This is the same struggle the Jews faced in Malachi’s day. How long are you willing to wait on God?
