Habakkuk wanted God to do something about the rampant sin of the Jewish people. So the Lord told him he would do something…he would send Babylon to conquer them. That wasn’t what Habakkuk had in mind and he wanted to know why God would choose that route since the Babylonians were even more sinful than the Jews. The Lord told him not to worry…the Babylonians would be punished for their sins as well. But what about us? Will we also be punished for our sins?
